To achieve this goal, the Office of the Chief Procurement Officer is committed to implementing open and transparent procurement methods to promote maximum vendor participation while leveraging overall County volume to achieve lower costs.

  • 2012 Vendor Workshops: Space is very limited for the 2012 Doing Business with Cook County vendor workshops, to be held each quarter in our offices at 118 N. Clark Street, Room 1018 from 2-3:30pm.  The workshops will review Cook County procurement processes for common service and commodity areas.  Please register while space is available using the links below; only registered individuals will be admitted to the workshop.

  • Please review the County's Buying Plan for upcoming procurement opportunities in the next year.  This document will updated periodically and provided on this site. 

  • The Cook County Open Data website was launched to create transparency and accessibility to Cook County data.  Inlcuded among these sets of data are contract awards from the Office of the Chief Procurement Officer, which will continue to be updated with new awards.
  • The new Cook County Procurement Code was unanimously approved by the Cook County Board of Commissioners at the September 7th Board Meeting. The New Procurement Code will improve the efficiency, enhance procurement process transparency, facilitate the implementation of best practices, maximize value, and  facilitate the participation by MWBE certified firms.

Countywide Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)

Request for Information (RFI) #11-50-051, was issued by the Cook County Office of the Chief Procurement Officer on February 3, 2011, for the countywide Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) System and the related System Integration Services.
