Human Rights Ordinance
With the link above you can reach the Municode for Cook County page where you will find the Ordinance passed by the Cook County Board of Commissioners on March 16, 1993 under the section labelled Chapter 42. Under Human relations you will find the Human Rights Ordinance. This ordinance protects all people who live and work in the County from discrimination and sexual harassment in employment, public accommodations, housing, credit transactions, County services and County contracting.
